22-243 Win. vs Mach II Cheetah....difference??

Just as the title says......both use the 28 degree shoulder and large rifle primers from what I've read about them both.

Is the only difference in twist rate of the barrel installed?

The original Cheetah had a 40 degree Ackley shoulder & small primer pocket so I get that. Just don't see the difference between the other two unless it's in the twist rate of the barrel used.

Thanks for any help you guys can give.

Lots of times you will have several people develop and publish basically identical wildcat cartridges. 22-243 Middlestead and the 22 CHeetah II are good examples of this, as was the original 22-250 (developed contemporaneously by Gebby, Wotkins, and several others) and the 25-06. And yes, the 22 CHeetah used the BR brass with small primers, and the 22 Cheetah II is the same case dimensions but using cases with large primers due to Remington discontinuing the 308 BR brass about 20 years ago.
Never try to educate someone who resists knowledge at all costs.
But what do I know?
