Need help indentifying pistol

Bought this while back, been searching high and low to find the maker. Has AC stamp in a square. .36 cal navy made in italy. Any help would be greatly appreciated.. Pics below

Probably ASM. AC denotes it being made in 77. It should have a manufacturers logo on it somewhere. Maybe on the bottom barrel flat.

It would be interesting to find it is an ASM....

...It would be the first example I have seen with roll engraving from ASM.

Have others in the group encountered that?

Ive got a buddy that has one identical to this one and I believe it is an FIE

FIE was an importer. It's possible it could be one of the lesser known manufacturers. I can't remember seeing an engraved brass frame Pietta.

It could be a COM, PR, or BLG. Are there any markings on the bottom of the backstrap? FIE imported all three manufacturers at one time or another.
