Dream guns cost money, right?

I, not so long ago fell into some wastable (for the time) extra money. So I went a little crazy, I (a revolver guy) bought a new Glock 20 (10mm) Short frame for $601 OTD. Then called up Lone Wolf and spent another $900+ on a long slide open top with the 6.61" 10mm threaded barrel along with everything they sold to screw on the end minus a silencer, along with a 6.02" 9X25 Dillon barrel. Then after that, Ammo, $300 for now, and $150 for a cheaper red dot scope along with a weaver laser/light. pics coming soon.
I'm at close to $2000.

Now comes the new dream part, as I'm starting to dwindle the funds. For my G20SF I can get a G21/45acp long slide for it around $300-350 assembled W/O the barrel.
What I'd like to get is a 460 Rowland barrel kit with a 460 barrel for the G21"LS" and to come with it, to be threaded for the comp/silencer, along with a 6.61" 9X25mm Dillon barrel.

Problem, these barrel's don't exist "yet". I'm sure for the right price $$$$$$, I could maybe get some custom made, but my God,....... I did not win the lottery!
So goes the dream.
TBS, for around $750 I can set my self up with a Lone Wolf G21 slide, stock length assembled, and a 460 Rowland kit with a few 45acp mag's.
NOW THAT's ONE BAD GLOCK ON TOP OF MY ALREADY BAD TO THE BONE GLOCK. And those I can get right now, no back orders, all in stock. LOL

After that all that I'll be broke just like the good old days.

Maybe the dream is better than reality as I already have a Revolver 44mag. But still........a glock with 44mag- power in 13+1 shot.

Photo's will not load, sorry.

The Rowland 460 would be my goal to get some serious power out of a Glock. You would be getting near a 1,000 ft lbs. The Glock will never have serious .44 mag power, you need a Desert Eagle for that.

As if a hot 10mm doesn't have a lot of power, esp out of a 6.61" barrel on top of another .75-1" extra length for the comp. My Underwood ammo with a 155g is claimed at 1500fps/774lbs out of a stock G20. I'm guessing I'll get another 100-150fps with my longer barrel. "Closed to" 880-936lbs. I think the comp alone adds around 50fps.

I totally agree with that, the 460 Rowland/.45cal hits the lower end of 44mag for power, but hey X14 with a comp? That's bad to the bone. I have a Ruger Redhawk 44 so I should just settle down. LOL

Still all's way cool and you can keep that heavy pig of a DE all day long, but who am I to speak my Redhawk needs to go on a diet also.

I think your project is fantastic. A 10mm and a 460 Glock is sweet. And I'd take a Ruger Redhawk over just about anything. I have no use for the Desert Eagles.

Yep, you could give me a DE 44mag, but I'd sell it, and buy two Ruger RH's.

Yeah, the 460 for now is kind of a pipe dream for now, that and as far as I know there is no 460 6" barrel or a 6.6" threaded barrel yet available of which I desire. TBS. I have a 9X25mm (10mm shell tapered down to 9MM in the similar fashion as the .357sig) 6" Dillon barrel which is a drop in for my G20SF.

Bad news, it's on back order till early December. I have some Dillon ammo 125g 9mm that claims 1700fps out of a 4.61" stock Glock 20 barrel length using the conversion Dillon barrel. That's means it should up the fps to 1750-1850fps using the 6.02" Dillon barrel I have on order.

FYI, I can shoot by changing barrels and or slides 45acp, 460 Rowland, .357sig, .40cal, 10mm, and 9X25mm Dillon ammo all from my G20SF frame. For 45acp, and Rowland I need to get the G21 mag that go right into my G20SF. And none of these need to be custom fitted, it's all drop in I'm sure.

Ohh, I'm not sure, but maybe a 9mm Luger too out of my G20, but, I have my doubts.

Next, I have to get a G17L or a G17 and call my buddies at Lone Wolf again.

PS: I have a bad pic under one of my OPs showing my G20SFLS with the Lone Wolf LS and LW Comp. It also has Laser/light mounted od the picatinny rail. Look up my OPs.
