454 16 inch velocity



If you believe a Chrony, then my 16" Puma 92 shoots 300 grain XTP slugs at 1900 fps at 40 degrees ambient temperature.

I won't say how much H110 I used because it's probably not safe in your gun....(I don't think it's quite compressed).

I have some GC 360 grain hardcast. With the lube, I'm hoping it will load up to almost the same velocity (but my shoulder isn't....).

were those 250 grain bullets?

I shot some of the Hornady fire-breathers and they hurt more than my loads.....
