I am looking for any reloding info or who might know where I can get some about the 25 STW. I am looking to build a super long range varmint rifle and this is one of the calibers I'm considering. Others are 300 Rem ultramag. 6.5 STW, 7 STW , and 300 winmag I've already owned one in 300winmag and shot a prarie dog at 1880 yds so I am trying to better that one . Should have never sold that rifle! Thanks In advance for any help

Yes it was. Why are you jealous. The gun I was usuing was a full blown tactical sniperrifle in 300 win mag with a H.S. Precsision 28" ssf barrell with a 8-32 burris shooting a 200 sierra matchking the best shot I ever did with that rifle was 5 dogs at one time. There was 5 dogs standing all bunched up together and I hit the center dog with a 165gr Nosler ballistic tip I know that they are used for big game but it sure did a number on those dogs.

red mist

congradulations on your 1800 yard gun.

but seriously you must admit that was a purly lucky shot.
i am certain that you could not duplicate it again and would be willing to put up or shut up if you could.

It was very hard it still took 3 shots I have taken dogs at 1660 1543 1449 and 3 at 1160 yds and several at 1000yds I am a member of the VHA but I just dont care enough to submit the shots. The 1880 was just the best. So I'm going to build another rifle but bigger so can improve on the 1880.Hey gunmart what can you get me a 12-42 Nightforce for Id like to put that on it I also thought of a 8-32 burris or Pentax in same. Im really looking for some info on the 25 STW
