Magtech brass shotshells...$$$ way up!!!
I wanted to get a few more in 16 bore, and I likened to have had the big one, like Fred Sanford would say...
They are nearly $30.00 a box from some places! I picked the last ones up right around $20. I guess in ways they are still a good deal considering they don't really wear out. Makes me feel better about the ones I have.

Yep, nothing's reasonable right now. Every now and then I look for .22WRF and it used to range from fair to expensive. Now it's expensive to precious. Same deal with .44 Colt, but at least I can cast and reload that.

You can buy 16 gauge paper hulls primed for 17.00 a hundred and they can be reloaded with BP several times.

Please send me a message of wher the 16ga paper hulls exist for that price.
Or any price for that matter. Graf used to have them, but no more. I've got four cases of brass now in 12ga, and would like to get two more cases in 16ga.

HOw many times can these be reloaded with BP? Smokeless? I didn't even realize there was new production available.

Indefinitely, if you never crimp them.
They don't expand so they never have to be resized. There are only a few documented smokeless loads out there, mostly with red dot. They are on the internet if you search. Alcan had a load brochure with some loads from the 1960's too- I've got it, but I don't know where it is now.

How do you load without crimping them? Wax the end or something? A paper wad?

Been a while since you bought some I can see that. Do 410s here. Been sealing mine with Elmers glue. Like your idea better. Just a thought: Get the right color polish and one could color code their shot size. Now there's a good idea I just shared. "Hey how about that!! Andy Griffith_"

In a double barrel, you want some sort of glue so that the overshot wad will withstand the recoil of the first barrel.

I've tried holy black with plastic shells, but it starts to melt the plastic and makes a smell I don't like.
I've meant to order some paper hulls to use, but never have gotten around to it, plus I'm going to need some different sized wads for those, and I'll have to find the roll crimpers in this mess I've got around here!
