Just wondering if anyone has any experience with these.....are they any good?.....do those just go on any 223 lower ?.....are they accurate ?.....about what do they run price wise ?........thanks for the info.

Hi, Frogman,

I haven't seen that one. I guess one could make a .50 BMG upper for an AR-15, but I wonder what the recoil would do to the alloy lower. (Not to mention what it would do to the shooter!) It would have to be single shot unless it has its own mag someplace.

Let us know if you find one and how it works.

P.S. I wonder if the .50 spotter round for the 106 Recoilless would work through the magazine?

I seem to recall one of the mfg reps talking about this on AR15.com. They said that the lower should be okay as it's not a stressed part. Go to the mfg forum there and search ( I believe it was Hesse, though it could have been DPMS).
