Cloudy Nickel Fix?

Whay can be done restore nickel that is "cloudy"

It can be gently polished with Simichrome polish. Very gently.
Please realize that any time this is done it abrades the very thin nickel plate. It doesn't take very many polishings before you run into steel.

May want to try a jewelers cloth
Use one for wiping finished nickel plate
