Spring and fall in central Texas are the best time to go shooting. But then again, that's probably true in most parts of the country. I can't wait for the new indoor range to open here in Austin.

Machineguntony, you could probably shoot all year round in your neck of the woods, a brand new indoor range sounds nice. Where I am they close ranges never open new ones. Getting ready for the first big snow storm, ice melt, shovels & gas for the snow blower. Hope we don't lose power. Texas sounds good to me. Till the next time, Be Safe out there.

Wow, those eastern blizzards; back in post #11, I wasn't joking when I said the worst was yet to come. My advice now is to bring your rifle in from the cold while you still have half a chance to find it buried in six feet of snow.

Condor bravo, we sure did get hit with a good one. Didn't lose power that was our main concern, shoveling out is a pain. The streets are clear to drive & the temperature is in the 40's so the white stuff is melting. Went to the indoor range today, shot my 4566 for the first time in years. Reloaded 50 rounds with a powder( universal clays ) 5.6 gr using a 230 fmj the powder was at least 12 years old, worked fine. Keeping busy, looking forward to warmer weather. Good talking to you, till the next time. Be Safe out there Chris

You suckers can keep it too.
We got a grand total of "flurries" and the only way I could be happier is if it were 70 while I type this.
