Midway USA is having a "Truckload" sale for the month of November. I think they are selling Winchester 230 gr FMJ for between $70 and $75 a thousand DELIVERED to your door.

Check them out at www.midwayusa.com

Hope this helps, Mikey

Here's another one to try. I have used their 9mm, but haven't bought any .45 as I shoot LSW in my 1911.

Try National Bullet:
http://www.nationalbullet.com/

They sell .45 230g FMJ for $69.50 per 1000, (185g JHP for the same price).

Their prices don't include S/H like midway, but when you add it in it's about the same.

I just this past week received 1000 plated, 160gr. fprn bullets from West Coast Bullets. Cost was $56, delivered. I've shot a bunch of Rainiers and these are every bit as nice and seem to be more accurate than any of the Rainiers that I've shot.

I believe their delivered price for 1000 230gr. fmj is around $63.

Also, if you buy from National Bullet Co., be sure that you get their jacketed, not "plated" bullets. Their plated bullets are really copper washed and will lead your barrel.

BTW, the 160gr. are .400, for using with .400 Cor-bon
