Best I've found is about $32 per thousand locally. Is that a pretty good price? That's as cheap as they get on the internet as well, as far as I can see. $36 per thousand seems more typical. Thanks.

Buying in larger lots we have getting them for 30.32 is a real good price if hard cast.

Joe, where do you live?!? Didn't know you wuz so nearby....I was under the impression that Silver Bullet was out of business, but I was asking about the range at the time. We may have to go shooting some time. I've nearly got a place just outside Virden with a berm and no other shooters to use; let me know if you feel like shooting some tin cans and grilling some steaks sometime.

Don:

My cost is 30/1000, hard cast, "similar to H&G68", good bullets, BUT I'm in the Pittsburgh area, as is the caster. Shipping would eat you up, or I suspect so.

Don,

I'd love to shoot with ya, but since I live in West Central Iowa it would be quite a drive...

I know Harold dropped his web site but I don't know about the range. I placed my last order just over a week ago and everything went smooth as always.

$32 is a good price. Especially if they are hard cast. I pay $28 per thousand but I buy mine 5000 at a time from TnT Reloading. I see the owner at most of the gun shows.

DOH!
See, I never knew about the website--by the time I got back into shooting, everyone was saying that Silver Bullet had closed down. I've actually never been there, but I only live about half an hour south of New Berlin. I'll call tonight and see if they're still at their old phone number. That really is a good price and I could just drive in and pick 'em up. Never knew it was right under my nose.
