ARMS 40 L low profile same plane sight

I am thinking of removing the carry handle on my M4 style AR with fixed front sight. and mounting a red dot so that made me start considering a rear sight for it. I was considering the ARMS 40L but just wondered since I am definitely new to using flip sights and red dots, if this sight is compatible with the fixed front sights(or are they all compatible for that matter?) Thanks.

The 40L is a pretty good flip sight, but the guy who runs ARMS is a jerk and donates to gun grabbing politicians, so I don't buy his wares.

Magpul MBUS is a polymer rear sight with judo chop action, and then there is the Troy aluminum rear sight, both of which are good.
