Yup, two different things. The driving band engages the rifling and is full diameter. The grease groove is that groove that holds the grease. There are normally multiple grease grooves, but generally the driving band is the band near the nose, over the crimp groove, which is also not a grease groove.

I may be mistaken, but aren't they the same on Lee Precision Tumble Lube bullets?

Same area of the bullet, but two different things. The driving bands are the raised areas that engage the rifling. The grease grooves are the sunken areas that hold lube.

Some folks just don't seem to getting the concept that the grease grooves are the things BETWEEN the driving bands.

Hal, don't feel bad. I did the same thing yesterday when I asked my daughter if her laptop had a webcam. This question came after we had been using Skype since she got her new laptop a year ago.
