Yeah....there isn't much that can't be done. Some where some how someone has done it.
Suggestion.....don't waste your time or money doing it. Go to the range and shoot. Why would you need a bayonet on a shotgun. Just learn how to use the thing and no one should get close enough to you that you would need a knife / bayonet

The Mossberg 590A1 comes with a bayonet lug. The Ontario OKC3S bayonet fits it very nicely. For a light, you will have to purchase a clamp-on light mount ... or use some other method to mount a light.

Not that it would be (in my mind at least) useful, but a shotgun with a bayonet is hilarious. I may just get one to show off to my buddies, they would love that.

The mossberg 590 is the way to go if you want a bayonet and it's hard to mount a light with a clamp on the magazine tube because of said bayonet mount. www.gggaz.com has a flashlight mount that mounts on the forearm but it's pricey at $80. To copy them I just bought a picatinny rail and drilled a couple of holes and mounted it with the screws and nuts that came with my streamlight. It's a bit tricky to get it right, I'll be honest. I've included a couple of pictures of my completed DZFG and for all of you that don't think a shotgun needs a bayonet, maybe it doesn't, but it sure looks cool. Don't judge me.
