NEED a flat hammer spring
I need a flat hammer spring for a Marlin 1894 lever action in 32-20. It is real old and takes the flat hammer spring. Mine broke in half :barf: I tried Numrich, Brownells and Midway. Any ideas?

Brownells sells flat sping material, It sounds like you are gonna have to make one.

Wisner's has them listed for straight or pistol grip versions:

If the above doesn't work, I can make one if you send the old pieces.

Had one break in my vintage .38-40 Marlin '94 last year and modified an 1866/1873 main spring to fit. They're available from various sources for $12 - $15, and are long enough to be cut to length, and the screw hole has to be enlarged just a tad. It took all of maybe thirty minutes.
