30-06 150gr bullets... where are you buying yours ?

Looking to find Garand fodder - I'm completely out.

I like 150gr bullets, but 147's would do for the right price.

Looking for a can or so...

Thanks,

BigSlick

150 gr .308

Assuming that you're interested in FMJ bullets:

Try Widener's. They are one of many sources for them.

You can't beat 147gr bullets. I buy mine in person at gunshows from www.ammunitionstore.com

However, for hunting, I use the Remington CoreLokt 150gr soft points from MidwayUSA,Cabelas, etc. Midway has them for less than .10 each.

I'm not too happy with the 147's. I've never found one that shot worth a squat in a gas gun. The Sierra 150 grain Matchkings hold up OK. I got a bunch of CMP M2 ball at one point and pulled all the bullets and put the Sierras in. Shot reasonably well.
