Load data for Hornady Action Pistol 45 auto 185 grain using Vihtavouri N340????
I have some Vihtavouri N340 and a bunch of Hornady Action Pistol 45 auto 185 grain. I can find the load data for the Hornady XTP but not the HAP. Any help?

I think it would be the same for the HAP as it is for the XTP but I'm not sure.

It would be the same for any 185gr jacketed bullet.

Hornady's latest manual doesn't list a 185gr HAP but it does list the 230gr HAP. The 230gr HAP uses the same powder data as all of their other 230gr jacketed bullets so I would say you could use the same powder data for the 185gr HAP that the 185gr XTP uses. OAL is something you will need to determine. The 230gr HAPs and XTPs use the same OAL. If the 185gr HAP is the same length as the 185gr XTP you would use the same OAL. Hornady lists the OAL of the 185gr XTP as 1.213".
