Wolf primers

Anyone had any experience with Wolf small pistol primers? I'm looking to buy some primers and they seem to have the best price, but what about the quality? And dependability..

I've used the wolf large pistol primers. They all went bang. I don't know that they are as consistent in terms of accuracy, as I built a bunch of 45 ACP plinking ammo, but they weren't any worse than the CCI primers I usually use. I'd use wolf without reservation if availability was better here.

I haven't used any yet but have been hearing a lot of good things about them.

Ok thanks fellows i appreciate the info. As these will be used in only target ammo i guess i will go ahead and get an order of them and see how they work out. Won't be to big a deal if a few don't go bang as it isn't competition shooting, just practice.

I shoot wolf primers exclusively now. I get them from www.powdervalleyinc.com as they are the cheapest place I've found them at $19 per 1000.

I bought all mine two months ago for $17.50 per 1000. shot a few thousand of both large and small pistol with them.

Oh man your so lucky. I would kill to live within reasonable driving distance to a dealer with decent prices. Everyone around here is out a sight on their prices so i end up having to pay shipping and hazmat on everything i buy.

Greetings,

I used small magnum primers and small primers wolf and I never had any problem. Each time they went bang.

Thank you
