Fed Nickel case question .223

I have come across 150 nickel plated, brass cases with a Federal headstamp. I can't seem to find the factory round these were originally used for. Anyone have an idea?

Could be one of the LE rounds that federal puts out.

I have looked through my mags and catalogs and haven't found what round they came from.

I had 50 Nickled .270 brass cases, but I bought them new, most likely from Midway in one of their clearance specials a few years ago. So in that case, they were not the result of firing factory ammo. I used them for hand loads.
