Help with German Silver (Nickel Silver plating)

Does anyone know of a smith or plater who is able to reproduce the copper / nickel / zinc alloy called German Silver that was used on the trigger guard and backstrap of some civilian 1851s? I have tried all the usual suspects (Turnbull, etc.) but nuthin'.
ANY help would be greatly appreciated

It would probably be easier and cheaper to find those already plated.

Not that easy

Per VTI, Uberti is 9 months out on this part AND they have changed the spec on the part. Old backstraps and trigger guards are not interchangeable with new. Different size.

Nickel silver can not be plated onto another metal. Originals were silver plated.

Here is a place that did some silver plating for me. I just sent the backstrap and trigger guard, so no problem with sending a gun. Very reasonable price and completed in less than a week.
