comparison: Bersa UC9 and Stoeger Cougar

Gunners,

How do the Bersa UC9 and Stoeger Cougar compare to each other in size, weight, concealability?

The cougar is a pretty hefty gun. I had a shoulder rid for mine.

The Bersa UC is a lot smaller, has a polymer frame, and still decent capacity.

Since you ask about size, weight and concealability, the Bersa ultra compact is the clear winner in every one of those regards. The Cougar is much closer to a duty pistol in size. Not a huge difference between it and my 92fs.

The Bersa has an alloy frame.

I like mine a great deal. Small, but still 13+1 capacity... finish isn't the greatest, but rugged and reliable

I have never shot a Cougar, but the Bersa is an excellent pistol.

Love the stoeger cougar's. The only bersa I had was the BP9cc. I'd pick the cougar over a bersa any day.

I have 4 Bersas. My three 9mms have been 100% reliable. The .22 is picky with ammo, but what .22 isn't (in my experience)?
