H4198 same as imr4198

I have some h 4198 but I see a lot of load data for 223 that's says imr 4198. Is this the same powder? Can they be used interchangably?

They are not identical but are extremely close and cover the same applications. Where one can be used the other can be used. Published data for both powders are abundant, just make sure you use data for the brand of 4198 you have. There will be overlap between the two powders but I wouldn't substitute one for the other. If you stick to the data for the powder you have you should be just fine. Hodgdon's website will have the info on both powders.
