Wonderful!!!!!

My 4 slice toaster died this morning so it will soon face the firing squad. I have 2 computer monitors stashed at the dump for later practice.
I'm glad to see that somebody else on here knows how to have a good time.

Just make sure you clean up after yourselves, folks. I hated it when my spot in the desert was littered with bullet-riddled small appliances. And then someone else comes along, sees me shooting, and assumes I'm the jerk.

As a child, I dont think a single appliance letf the property without holes from something in it. I just assumed that was normal

+1 for old TVs'
But, we had to hit one 3 times with a 22 to finally get the front to pop, but it's a cool sounding pop.

Don't try this at close range, there are a fair amount of fragments involved.

Piano shoot

I Knew a guy a few years back that would encounter old Pianos in his work. Apparently some are so far gone they can no longer be tuned, cracked frame for instance.
Esp. fun to shoot tho! We had a once a year piano shoot. We usually brought a bunch of other items too.

Worse part was cleaning up the big mess, which we did religiously. Like a campsite, we left the spot cleaner than before.

About 10 years ago I moved into this apt. About nine years ago someone left a Panasonic microwave by the dumpster. It looked clean so brought it in and put a cup of water in it foe a minute and viola! Hot! Last month it pooped out. Probably because I would forget about the tea that I heated and the evap got into the electronics. So I went to toss it in the dumpster and look at the back and it was made in March, 1979! Damn I felt proud and sad at the same time. I would not have shot that workhorse. But put a Sun Workstation on the berm and give me a BPS and I will happily go Office Space on it.

I don't ever have any appliances to shoot. I'm so cheap that I take them apart and keep all the screws and wiring

I tried out an old toilet once. A load of 00 buck will turn the porcelain to talcum powder. It just disappeared!

Spray cans are da bomb. A long time ago me and a buddie came up with about 50 cans of spray paint that needed, ummm, 'disposing of'. Every color imaginable. We went way out in the Arizona outback and created the all new Painted Desert II. What a blast that was! I know, I know..it was a terrible thing to do but hey, this was 35 years ago. They hadn't even coined the term enviromentalist yet. I won't even break glass in the desert now.

And now a thread about shooting broken appliances has died.
