Glock 33 round magazine

Hi
I have acquired 8 Glock 33 round 9mm magazines. I would like to know how many of you Glock owners have used them? What are you reviews on them?

As long as they are factory Glock mags mine have worked just as well as the standard size mags. Some of the aftermarket mags are junk. Considering they hold 2X as many rounds as standard they are usually priced right as well. Too big for carry obviously, but I would have no problems using them for HD purposes.

They are pricy here...about 150 dollars each. How can a Glock go through in a row wihtout worrying about guide rob melt down or other frame issues?

I believe they were intended for use in the Glock 18, but they will work just fine in a G17 or G19. Never heard of any issues with them other than being a bit large and unwieldly.

i have used the factory 33 rnd. in both my 17 and my kel-tec sub 2k. never a problem, but i'v thrown away a couple of cheaper knock offs....

I like to use them at the range. When paying for range time by the hour, it is nice to load all your mags ahead of time. Never had a problem with my Glock mags.

I only use the 31+2 round Glock magazines in my KelTec Sub2000...they work just fine...

all the glock factory 33 rounders have worked flawlessly for me, they even work in a glock 26. i think i paid $59 for them.

I have Factory and Korean extended. Both work fine in my 19/17 and KelTec Carbine. Never tried a Scherer or whatever it was called.

I used to have one when I had my G19. It was great novelty at the range and made it seem like my gun was firing unlimited ammo to all the novices. It worked reliably for me. No complaints other than it was not practical for concealed carry.

In the gun certainly. Carrying as an extra mag I think it might be very easily and comfortably accomplished. They are illegal in Ohio though. Not to own, just to insert into the gun...
II think, maybe this law has been repealed.
I seem to be the only one who follows it anyways. People use 40 round AK mags at ranges all the time.

Yes they legal to possess but are illegal to use in Ohio. Few people seem to know about that law. A guy did get in trouble a few years back for having a 40 round mag in his AR-15 but there is more to that story than just the gun...

A gun cannot have a capacity of more than 31 (30+1) or it is a "destructive device" according to the ORC. If the gun is a registered NFA item, that law does not apply. So, a SBR or a machinegun can have any size mag you want.
