Update: Ruger SR45 mag release failure and service

Love Ruger service!!!

I shipped my SR45 last Monday, just picked it today (this next Monday) repaired. The notes state they replaced the Magazine catch, Magazine latch spring, and Magazine thumb-piece.

They added a complimentary Ruger cleaning cloth, and tested it for function ... 30 rounds of Blackhills .45, 230 grn. ball ammo ... no malfunctions...

That is what I call service!

I will shoot it myself soon, and update on how it does, as I have not shot many rounds out of it due to the circumstances of not being able to reload until now. It seems to function well, but the mag release will be tested all day and tomorrow and beyond at home to ensure my confidence in the repair.
