New to me

I just picked up a H&R 649 revolver on trade. The barrel is stamped .22 cal. No lr or wmr after that. can anyone tell me if this gun can shoot either LR or WMR if I get the proper cylinder? I believe the gun is from the 1980s. it is all steel with a 7.4 inch barrel. The only scoff marks on the gun are a couple scratches on the wood grips. I only had some old wildcat rounds to shoot through it, but it held a six inch group off hand at 25 yards. I traded a hi-point C-8 for it and I think I got the better end of the deal. Thanks for any information. Shadow.

If there's no .22 Magnum designation it's probably chambered for .22 Short, Long, and Long Rifle.

Thanks Carmandy. I have been looking for information on the gun online and there is a lot of information out there, but some of it is not really useful.
