Light primer strikes, Ruger

Just got back from the range. My Ruger 44 Mag. 50th anniversary model had several light primer strikes....I had to shoot them out of my 629.

Has anyone else had this problem?

How far is your pin sticking out?

Take the cylinder out, and dry fire the gun, but keep pressure on the trigger, and investigate the firing pin protrusion, it would be pretty clear if its broken. Do you have excessive cylinder end shake?

Id chock it up to bad ammo myself.

The question isn't really clear or really related to gunsmithing as it stands right now, we need more info.
