SAF Personal Firearm Defense Series DVDs
Very surprised to see there isn't a thread about this yet. Has anyone else had a look at this series from the Second Amendment Foundation? I received the first DVD - Shooting In Realistic Environments - earlier this week and after viewing I must say I am very impressed.
The fundamentals are addressed - maybe TOO thoroughly for the more experienced shooters here, but welcome nonetheless - and I found the entire presentation outstanding. This first DVD is ably taught by Rob Pincus of the Valhalla Training Center. Not sure if other DVDs have other instructors. I want to subscribe but could not find any information about the cost of future DVDs. Regardless, unless the price is unusually high for the other DVDs in the series, I look forward to receiving more of these, unless anyone here who may be privy to more information than I can offer me a reason not to. Any feedback? |

Glad you liked it.
I recently committed to producing quite a few more videos for that series over the next few years.... in fact, we've already got 3 more taped and being edited right now. The next three titles planned are: Defensive Firearms Use in Public Combat Focus Shooting Home Defense Tactics As the series moves on, it will include a variety of self-defense topics, the vast majority of which will be firearms related. In addition to being available through SAF, Guns & Ammo is one of our distribution partners and we are working on others. The DVDs will also be available through Valhalla. I'd gladly take input on what topics you and other TFLers might like to see. -RJP |

Rob,
We watched the first video the other day. Good presentation, great facility. My wife says you talk too fast though. 8^) lpl/nc |

I was told the same thing when I was out west--I talk too fast. It must be a New Jersey thing.
