Mosin Nagant reload

Would a 308 bullet do fine in the 7.62x 54R ???

Slug the bore and see. M-N bores may run anywhere from .307 to .318 groove diameter. The .308 bullets oughta work OK from .307 to .310. You can get .311 and .312 bullets which ought do up to .314. Past that you'll have to go to cast bullets.
