California Big 5's out of the Gun Business

I just learned that all California Big 5s will quit selling firearms due to the video recording requirements CA will be mandating for every gun purchase. Long time California residents will recognize this as part of a long trend started in the early 80s with Wards, Sears and JC Penny giving up gun and ammo sales, then places like Payless quite selling fishing supplies and ammo in the 90s, K Mart around 2010, Wallmart quit selling guns around 2000 and ammo around 2018. Now the heavy hand of government mandated regulation is taking Big 5 out of the gun business and who knows how much longer they will sell ammo. California government has banned online ammo sales and keeps pushing to reduce the availability of guns and ammo to the public in every way possible. Big 5 was one of the places to do a legal DROS transfer at a reasonable price.
