Older non-choke tube Remington 1100 upgrade
I have a 30 year old Remington 1100 Magnum that is in like new condition. It came with the 30", 3" chambered full choke barrel. I also bought a 28" 2 3/4 chambered barrel with a modified choke.
Can these barrels be threaded for Rem Choke, or other screw in choke tubes? Also, if so, is there any "value" issues with having the original 30" magnum barrel threaded?

It can be done aftermarket. Briley is famous and expensive, Carlson is less expensive and does ok. Measure your barrel to see if it is thick enough to thread for tubes.
