Like I posted earlier; the AA#5 load of 5.9 grains will give you 940 fps. per their booklet. The +P load of 6.9 grains will break 1000.

That 6.9grain aa wont batter the ever living hell out of my gun will it. if not then ill probably pick up a can of that and power pistol and start giving it a whack and see whats more accurate.

Nah, the 6.9 load is about the same as the 5.4 of Unique. Your gun will last longer than your grandkids at 6 Flags.

5.0-gr of Unique and a 158-gr LSWC is a pussycat in a K-Frame S&W.
5.5-gr of Unique and a 158-gr LSWC is a bit of a thumper but still quite manageable and a great load for a quality steel revolver like the Model 10.
