Question on 28ga AAHS

I'm new to this, but I want to start reloading shells for my 28 gauge O/U. I've been shooting factory AA HS shells. I'm finding very limited load data on the HS hull and what I have found is calling for AAHS wads.

My question is, should I stick with the AAHS or move to a different hull all together? I would prefer to cut my losses now if the AAHS isn't a good long term solution (limited load data, hard to find wads, etc).

Also, any advice on good 28 ga field and target loads would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance!

The limited data is not related to the winchester hulls. It is limited to 28 guage. I would use the AA hulls, just order the wads you need online. I checked my Lyman manual and Federal, Remington,Winchester hulls all have about the same amount of load data choices for your 28. I use Winchester componets for our 12 guages and always have had good results. I usually order from midway.com. Hope this helps.

I'm going to be hopefully finally buying a 28 in a couple of months, a CZ Ringneck SxS.

It will be a limited use fun gun, and I will probably stick with Winchester spec. loads and components for it.
