I Sort Of Accidently Became An AR Owner

Took this Sig P250SC that was ready to shoot 3 calibers, 9mm, .40 cal, and 357 SIG to the gun show, looking to trade it for an old milsorp or something. But a guy with an AR wanted it pretty bad. He offered me a rifle, soft case, 4 10 round magazines (All loaded with ammo), 4 30 round magazines (also stuffed) a bipod, straight up for the pistol, so I did.

Took her to the range, hmmmm, maybe a good deal...

Sounded like a good trade to me, what brand is the AR? Are you sure they are10 rounders? Looks like 20 rounders to me. It looks like a good solid setup, are you running a rear sight or some type of red dot / scope?

Can't say for certain. Right now I'm in the hospital and don't remember offhand. I know it wasn't a cheap version. I kind of really like my Saiga AK action in .223 better. But The Sportsman's Guide had a .300 ACC upper on sale andi snagged me one. I am really liking that round. May give my SKS a run for it's money.

I thought AR's were pointless, wouldn't be much fun, and cheaply made.....even though I carried a Mk18 in the navy..well, I now own 4 of them hahahahah

aR's are just a bunch of parts stuck together in the correct order, easily modified or even caliber changes. Life is good when you look forward to the PO,,UPS or Fed ex arriving each day with more goodies. Of course you can be deemed a little obsessive when you go over the thirty AR mark but you cannot stop or the brown or white trucks would discontinue visiting. Life is still good.

AR15s are the meth of guns. Don't start that @#%#! Because if you do, you're hooked. By comparison, at least with ARs, your teeth don't rot out.
