Looking for favorite loads for both 9mm and .45auto using HP 38. I think I already like this powder better than HS6!

I have several favorites.

In 9MM 4.4 gr With a Hardcast RNP 125 grain
also 4.1 Gr with a lazer cast 115 Gr RNL
and 4.4Gr with a lazercast 122Gr LFP

In 38Spl 3.5 Gr with a 148Gr lazercast LWC
also 3.6 Gr with a lazercast 158 Gr LSWC.
And 3.5 grains with a Hardcast 148Gr WCP

The Powder is vary consistant and is a clean powder. I think it is real close to W231.

Hp-38 is always the first powder reached for when developing light lead target loads.

45 acp-approximately 5.0 gns with any lead bullet 200 gns or under.

38 special-3.2 gns with lhbwc
3.5 gns with 158 gn lead

45 colt-7.5 gns with 200 lrnfp
