Bullet comparators? opinions needed

Anyone use these? I've got the Stoney Point comparator here, and looking thru the Sinclair catalog I see they're offering them from Stoney Point (attached to caliper), Davidson (it attaches to the caliper blades) and a new one from Sinclair that doesn't attach to the caliper blades. I'm looking at something other than the Stoney Point because I'm loading a 30 caliber bullet now that I don't have an insert for, and I've never been that thrilled with the results from the Stoney Point tool...

I use, and prefer, the Sinclair comparator. Because of its design, the number you get after zeroing your caliper for the comparator dimension is the actual base-to-ogive dimension. With the Stoney Point, because the ogive diameter is recessed into the comparator body (that's second hand information - I've never had one), you only get a "reference" number. Probably doesn't matter much but I like numbers that reflect actual dimensions.

The Sinclair is, of course, another thing to hang on to during the measuring process because it doesn't attach to the caliper blades.

I like the sinclair also. I have never used the stoney point though.
