Quick Question(s) About Glock Mags.

Hi, I had a idea after thinking about how my LGs only has Glock 22 Mags.

Is it possible to load, say, 9mm ammo into a .40 mag? And, are the .40 mags able to fit in a 9mm mag well?

Three options i came up with

tell them to stock their shelves
go somewhere else
order some online and have it before next weekend

40 is much bigger then you think....
