Tougher to Hunt... Deer or Turkey?

And here, I'm not talking about trophy deer or turkey. Which one do you think is the more difficult to take in the field?

I hunted on a lease-ranch for about ten years where there were quite a few turkeys as well as a good number of deer.

"Any gobbler" vs. "any buck": To me the gobbler is more difficult. They are seemingly warier, and the shot must be taken at closer range in order not to waste meat. A neck shot on a deer is a lot easier than a neck shot on a turkey.

All I know is that I've been able to get closer to a LOT more turkeys than deer. Deer always seem to panic when I encounter them, while turkeys never know I'm there.
The wife says it's because i stink, I say it's because I can't read wind in the mountains worth a damn.

Definately turkey. That's got to be one of the most paranoid creatures on earth.
