Standing Up

As some of you know, when the DC Drive-By Shooters were caught, they had a Bushmaster Rifle in their possession. Naturally, such vaunted organizations as the VPC and Brady Center moved immediately to smear this company...though we've seen no such attacks on Chevrolet.

We contacted Bushmaster to offer them a free 1/2 page ad in the February S.W.A.T issue, to use however they please. Bushmaster graciously accepted and decided to use the space for honest response (rather than pure advertisement). I think they've done an outstanding job of standing up for common sense...Class Act!

Today, the following poster has been posted around the Bushmaster factory.

I want an upper reciever just like that one in the poster. I also want a stock like the one in the poster. Maybe I'll get one from Santa Claus if I ask nicely and clean the house a few times.

Awesome of you to do that Rich, a deed a true patriot like yourself should be proud of ! Makes me even prouder to subscribe to S.W.A.T. Come January hopefully I will have enough $ to own a Bushmaster I have wanted one for a very long time.

That was really nice of you Rich.

I met the president of Bushmaster at the SHOT show. Seemed like a decent guy. Really friendly, loved to talk about his guns, even to just a regular guy like me who was just there to look.

Well, somehow this is coming off as being about S.W.A.T. That honestly wasn't my intent. It should be about the people at Bushmaster, and their willingness to respond directly to the accusations that have been made about them.

I truly appreciate the kudos, but we're not the ones in need of the moral support just now. By all means, drop them a line at [email protected]

Rich

Now I'll have to go buy a new Bushmaster to show my support for the company.

Yes, Rich, the Bushmaster ad shows class; but it's class those good folks would not have had the opportunity to show, were it not for your class act.

Well done, Sir.

Again kudos to you Rich and kudos to Bushmaster also.
They were told they could use the space however they saw fit. They could have gotten themselves some free prime ad space. After all, I'm sure the general readership of SWAT is one of their prime audiences. They instead took a classy alternative and attempted to explain (once more) why firearms freedom are absolute.

Feelin' PROUD - - -

I am pleased and proud to be associated with Ruch Lucibella and his class enterprises, and especially his handsome offer to Bushmaster.

I am very proud of the Bushmaster people for their gracious acceptance of Rich's offer, and the manner in which they chose to use it. Wish I could REALLY show appreciation for the company by buying one of their products, but that's not currently in the cards . . .

Thanks, All! Class Shows

Best,
Johnny
