Italy---1851 brass

would there be any reason why there would be ( 2 ) trigger springs piggy-backed together ???? something new or factory mishap.???

I am thinking...

Factory snafu.

Take them out and reassemble the revolver with only one.

See if it works.

If it does, you have a spare spring.

Makes me wonder if the assembler imbibed too freely? You'd think the tension with two springs would affect its handling and that their inspector (if they used one) would have sent it back.

I bought this last weekend. and yes, it was stiff to pull--.. Now it is almost to free, but thats the way I like them.. thanks Doc. and everyone else... all is well here..
