Wild Boar Hunting

Where is the closest place to Pennsylvania that I could go to hunt wild boar. I don't care if they are 400 lb monsters or 100 lb pigs, but I'd like them to be wild.

There are game preserves advertised in PA, but I'm not sure I'd like to pay for a pig. I just want to be able to drive somewhere on a long weekend or week trip and hunt some hogs.

Any suggestions?

If anyone has any experience with PA game preserve hunting, let me know. Maybe my opinion of them is wrong.

Thanks,

Shodan

Another thing

By the way, I'd like there to be a large enough population that I might actually see one.

I share your desire to hunt rogue pork. I contacted ODNR. There are approx. 800 wild beasts in Washington and Ross Counties. Washington is close to the PA boarder. Lots of public land. I am planning a trip myself.
