Minimum Velocity For Varmint Bullets ?

What is the slowest velocity for a varmint bullet like Nosler Ballistic Tip Varmint bullets (55 Gr. Spitzer) in which the bullet still has sufficient velocity to violently fragment ?

Minimum Velocity and Expansion

I do not use Nosler bullets. The reloading manual should give the recommended velocities.

I have ben using 55 grain Winchester bullets to shoot ground hogs for about 6 years. [ 5.6 grains of UNIQUE] At 1850 fps they do not expand MUCH but, get the job dunn.

I had a little time and found you the Nosler
sight and the phone number:

NOSLER...1-800-285-3701
