My new Sig came w. "Mil-Comm." Anyone heard of it?
Hi,
I was fortunate enough to obtain a NIB Sig P220 two-tone carry in .45acp last week. Its my third, following a P229R and a P239. The two previous guns came with a small bottle if Mil-Tec dry lubricant. http://www.militec-1.com/ But the new 220 came with a bit if "Mil-Comm," a light grease claiming great things. http://mil-comm.com/ The Mil-tec requried heating the gun after application to impregnate the metal, but the Mil-Comm does bit. I just wondered if anyone ever heard of it or could recommend it. (PS not sure if this is the correct forum for this discussion, if not my appologies. Feel free to move.) P220-CARRY-.jpg

I Bought a bottle at a local knife shop, but i use it on my handguns.
Seems a bit thicker viscocity than most lubes ive used. I cant say it does or doesnt do anything others do,its just a bottle of lube. I wouldnt mind trying thier greases for my slides, white lithium is what i use now. Last edited by DasFriek; June 14, 2009 at 10:13 PM. |

I've used it for years on the rails mostly. It stays put and lasts a long time. I like it.
