Winchester Model 25 +Cutt's
Ok, know next to nothing about shotguns. Buddy has the Winchester with a Cutt's Compensator and looking for value. Viewing the auction sites, one in the condition of his looks to go for around $300. Does the compensator add or subtract from the value?
Thanks. |

Generally the compensator will take away from the value of any shotgun.
But the compensators and Poly-Choke devices do work. The Winchester Model 25 is valued at: Exc. $400, VG $250, Good $200, Fair $150, Poor $100. Those values are from the 2009 Std. Cat. of Firearms. Please note todays values should be researched from closed auctions as to the selling price. The seller can ask what he wants, that does not mean he will get it. Also if selling to a dealer or sport shop, don't expect anywhere near 40% of those values. |
