Flintlock Musket Build

69 Cal smooth bore.

This still has a ways to go but some of the hard work has been done. The lock and butt plate are unmarked, I purchased them together (and believe they are vintage). The lock is well made and throws a huge shower of sparks.
I haven’t worked the details on the nose cap and the under rib yet. The under rib that I have fits, but looks blocky to my eye. I’m considering forming one myself to save wt., but again I haven’t really looked to see what’s available.

With other projects and honey-do’s I doubt if this will be finished until May or June

Thanks for looking,
Ray
