Smith and wesson 4046

I it possible to do a trigger job on the 4046. Had a smith tell me once there was not anything he could do. Was just wondering if it is possible and how.

They can be improved. If one could get a hold of Massad Ayoob, he could probably come up with the gun smith he was referencing in magazine articles several years ago. Mas was a big fan of the DAO S&W back in the day. As he puts on lots of classes, I am sure he has contact info that can be located.

I took a 4046 to the police academy several years ago. The instructor gave me some advice, to get another gun if I planned to qualify. Being an old revolver guy, I was not bothered by his lack of faith in my equipment. When the smoke cleared at the end of the class, I was top gun in my academy class using the rock stock 4046.

If you need a police holster for one. I still have mine, and probably the magazine pouch.
