Loctite
I'm going to invest in an universal sight adjustment tool.
Would it make sense to put a little dab of Blue or Red Loctite before or after I zero in the fixed dovetail sights or will it be a waste? |

I suggest that you only use Blue Loctite. Sights will never move after it sets but could still be broken loose in the future if you must. However, Red loctite, will pose a problem if you ever decide that the sights must be moved.

Just take a center punch and put a couple of dimples in the bottom of the dovetail and it won't move once you have it where you want it .

Blue loctite would be fine but the red needs to be heated to break loose. The green would also be fine.
