Looking for recommendations for a bi-pod and scope suggestions for my M1A Scout Squad.

Scout Squad has the quad rail system, doesn't it? Or is that just the Socom II?

Something in the 1-4 or 5 power and a Harris bi pod should work

Negative Ridge Runner, only the SOCOM II has the quad rail, you can buy it separately for all other M1A rifles from VLTOR but it costs in the neighborhood of $300 and weighs too much IMO.

EdInk, what are you using it for? I too have a Scout Squad, using an EOTech 512

Red dot sights and long eye relief scout scopes will work great on the existing scout mount. However, if you prefer a traditional style scope you will need a mount that screws into the side of the receiver, such as an ARMS 18 or Sadlak Industries, and a cheek riser.

Back when I owned a Scout and yes, I soon added a cheek riser.
