Custom Grip For 1858 Pietta

I just add an 1858 Remington Old Army Target model from cabelas to my BP arsenal. I shot it with a kirst 45LC converter. I like the gun and it shoots very well but the grip s--ks. Obviously the wood material they are using is different from the two I purchased before this one and the fit is not that good. Anybody knows of anyone who makes custom grips ?

who are sass members, some one might know of
this vender. If i can remember i will let you know.

I've been extremely impressed with Bar S TruIvory. Had my Open Top fitted with one piece grips a couple months ago and they are superb. Well fitted and nice, subtle grain structure. My 1860 grip frame will go to them shortly.

I've been looking for some custom carved ivory like grips for my 58 remmies. All the grip styles I like are for colt revolvers, or for the later remmies. Is there anyone making say, bull head or snake pattern grips for 58's. An americam eagle grip would be awsome.

Try this

Try this. I'm thinking about a set for my EAA Bounty Hunter, now that I decided to keep it.

Contacted this guy by email and got a response a few hours later.......better than most vendors I've dealt with.
