Personally I'd like to see ruger make a .44 special snubbie, sort of like a heavier built LCR. What about you?

Agreed, but I'm not sure there would be enough of a market for Ruger, which seems to focus on high-volume guns to some degree. The Super Redhawk Alaskan does come in .44 mag already with a barrel length of 2.5", but it's a beast at 45 oz.

Before I ask any manufacturer to start making something new, I'd prefer they bring their slowly-decreasing quality levels back up.

Any "average" firearm on the market today is just a shadow of what it would have been (or was) 10-15 years ago.

I want Springfield to make an EMP in 9mm, with a steel frame, a 4.25 inch threaded barrel and to reduce the slide and barrel dimensions - there's no reason it need be that wide and high now that it ain't chambered in .45 GAP.

As long as we're dreaming, a Winchester 94 Trapper in. 327 Federal Magnum.

And an 8-10 shot S&W large frame revolver with 6 or 8" barrel in the same caliber.

If somebody were to produce a High-Power in 10mm I would definitely buy one or two of them.

I have an FN made High-Power in 40 S&W but would love to have a full powered version.

An SW Model 66 in SS configuration with the 547 extactor in 9mm. Probably would be too expensive for me.

The mythical slim line Glock in 9mm.

A 4 barrel Sharps in a 32 cal something for grins and my love of the Yancy Derringer show when I was a kid.

I'd love to see a nice bolt action or single shot rifle in 7mm-08 or 260rem with a heavy varmint/bull barrel. For some reason, all the major manufacturers seem to think that these calibers are only suited for use in a super-thin pencil barrel or compact/youth rifle. I don't understand why nobody I've seen seems to make a varmint/target style rifle with the heavy barrel in anything between 243 and 308.

Correction: Tikka t3 varmint in 260 and 7mm-08, Savage 12 Long Range precision in 260, and T/C Encore Pro Hunter in 7mm-08. So a few exist, if one can find and afford them.

A revamp of the M6 Scout, that looks less goofy. One of my favorite guns ever. Finally got to shoot one recently, but for the money they're going for, just seems like a waste. Wish I was born, and had the money back when they were out and available for purchase.

I looked at that Savage... um... 42, was it? .410/22lr or .22WMR. I would say with bigger rounds, like maybe a 20 gauge and a .223, or .243, as an example, it could be great. However, without any "Storage" for rounds, small supplies, etc, it just doesn't feel the same... Maybe if I find one where someone has no idea what they have, I'll try to grab it...

Other than that, I think I'm just out of luck al-together.

Oh, btw, they did have the model 24 in all those calibers. Heh, 24, 42. ANYWAY... I believe there was a variant in .222/20 gauge, and honestly, the .222 is a good round, and so is the 20. However, again, you have 1. A wood stock, and 2. No storage, but in Savage's defense, neither the 24 or 42 were meant to be survival rifles. I guess, mostly just hunting-type combination guns for a more versatile firearm.

Oh, M6 Scout, how everyone has taken you for granted... :'(

One like in the movies, fires for two hours on full auto with out a mag change while it stays cool enough you can grab it by the barrel, selectively misses friendlies, varies projectile penetration based on what you intended vs what you loaded for, with the movie style suppressor that goes *fwoop fwoop* instead of *pop pop*

I've been so busy buying up guns that currently exist that I haven't given much thought to what I'd like to see made. I would love to have a S&W 651 (.22WMR 4" stainless J-frame) but they are hard to find and stupid expensive when you do. If S&W started making them again I would likely buy one.

I have come so close to buying the ATI STG-44 in .22LR. It just looks like fun and they feel heavy and built better than the GSG-5 MP5 clone I used to own. The price isn't bad either at around $400 new if you're patient. The only thing that's stopped me is that I have a hard time buying a .22LR rifle anymore that isn't threaded for my suppressors and I don't think that guy could be easily threaded.

I thought of some others I'd like:

A Civilian MG42, And Bren Gun would be neat, and fun. Although I suppose half the fun of the 42 is that ripping sound

I'd love Ruger more than I already do if they brought back the PC Carbines.

Semi-Auto Galil's would be neat too.
